The community of property is the supplementary matrimonial property regime under common law.
The community of property shall commence at the time of the marriage or subsequently, at the time it is agreed in the marriage contract.
In other words, property acquired before the marriage or acquired free of charge during the marriage shall be the separate property of each of the spouses. There will therefore be a separate property of each spouse and a community property.
The "contribution to the community of property" is nothing more than the transfer of an asset from the separate property of one of the spouses to the community property of both spouses, and this by virtue of the freedom of contract between spouses.
Documentation to be provided:
Title deeds of the spouse contributing the property.
DNI. of both spouses.
In the case of urban properties, certificate from the community of owners that they are up to date with the payment of the community fees.
Cadastral reference (last IBI receipt).
If the properties are rented.
Value of the contribution.
